Friday 20th December weekly update

20th December 2024

Head's message

Reception parents - what a treat to see your children performing their nativities in school for the first time.  I am sure you will agree that the children were absolutely amazing and should be really proud of themselves. A big thank you to you for helping your child practise their lines and provide them with costumes.  And a huge thank you to the Telford team for once again putting lots of time and effort into getting the best out of the children to produce a memorable performance.
The children are eagerly awaiting their Christmas party later on today and  I am sure they will report back later about the exciting things that have happened.

Christmas reading challenge
Look out for the Christmas reading challenge that has been posted on tapestry - all children are invited to take part and will receive a certificate when completed.

Thank you's
Thank you again for a very successful first term of this academic year.  The children have achieved some truly amazing things and I am sure they (and you) are ready for a well deserved break.

I would like to thank the amazing Telford team of staff for creating amazing memories for the children this term and ensuring that the children are happy and safe in school and are loving learning.  I know that they are going to enjoy their Christmas break too.

Our governors have also passed on their thanks and their letter to you is attached to your email.   I would like to thank them for their dedication to Telford Infants which is an essential part of the leadership of the school.

Have fun over the holiday period, try and rest and take a moment when you can and we will see you back for the start of the Spring term on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

Happy Christmas
