OPAL (Outdoor play and learning)
We are very excited to be an OPAL school.  We are at the early stages of our OPAL programme, with the view that the sky is the limit in terms of how we can continue to improve how playtimes look at school. A few examples of some of our latest enhancements include, music playing throughout the playgrounds, bubbles, chalk and book nooks. Our aim is to create an environment that children can innovate, express themselves and be creative through various forms of play. Going forward we will be looking at implementing small world toys, dressing up, buckets and spades, teddy bear picnics and more.
This provides all children with an opportunity to experience a range of activities at lunchtime.
Please see our OPAL page for more information.
READING CLUBS
Our reading clubs using our new school library will commence shortly and further information will be provided.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our School Council is led by Mrs Walsh and our councillors meet at 12noon on Wednesday lunchtimes for approximately half an hour. Our School Council plays a very special and important role in our school and is one way that we give our children a voice and it helps them to understand that their opinions count and wherever possible will be acted upon.

School Council is much more than just a club but as the children meet weekly on Wednesday lunchtimes we have included this on our 'Lunchtime Clubs' page. Please do take a look at our School Council's page for further details.

SPORTS AMBASSADORS  - Promoting the positive values of sport at Telford Infant School!

Sports Ambassadors meet with Mrs Smith on Wednesday lunchtimes. There are two Sports Ambassadors per Year 2 class and they are voted into this important role by their classmates. They promote the positive values of sport, serve as role models and champions for PE and help increase participation opportunities and healthy lifestyles for everyone in our school.

Further information can be found on the Physical Education page.
